ANN W. GIBB
After majoring in art at Cornell University, Ann W. Gibb went on
to study with the well known watercolorist, Herb Olsen. She subsequently
earned signature membership in Allied Artists of America, The American
Watercolor Society, Knickerbocker Artists and Philadelphia Watercolor
Society. She paints in oil, watercolor and pastel, Mrs. Gibb is
an exhibiting member of The National Arts Club in N.Y.C. and served
on the Board of Allied Artists of America for a number of years.
She was formerly on the faculty of the Silvermine School of Art
and continues on the Board of the American Watercolor Society. Her
work has won numerous prizes in both national and local shows and
is in many private as well as corporate collections. While primarily
a landscape painter, she also does figurative work, still life and
florals.
