Arthur Glickman
The artist strives to create in his sculpture an
emotion to which the viewer can relate.
His works have been exhibited in over fifty individual
galleries encompassing 15 states from California to New York, Florida
to Canada.
Arthur Glickman’s sculptures are presently
in the following private collections: Governor & Mrs. Marion
Cuomo, Mr. David Thomas, Founder of Wendy’s; Estee Lauder
Family; Senator Joseph R. Pisani; The Wrigley Family.
The artist was commissioned to produce the following
awards: The Washington Gas Light Corporation; International Business
Machines; The Adoptive Parents Committee of NY; Family Focus Adoption
Services; The Youth Consultation Service, NJ.
The artist was President of Allied Artists of America and The Sculptor’s
Association of New Jersey.
The artist has received numerous awards throughout
his career; the most recent being the C-Span Presidential Series
Contest Award in Washington, D. C. on February 21, 2000 for his
relief entitled “Jefferson, The Father of Democracy”.
The artist was subsequently interviewed and his award winning relief
featured on WCBS Television Channel 2 in New York City and Channel
12 in New Jersey.
