Her Chicks with Balls portrait series, now 50 paintings, heads to its first Museum Solo show at the Zanesville Museum of Art in Ohio. Takács’ work has a decided feminist focus as she embarks on a Goddess series, reimagining mythological characters through a contemporary lens, hoping to create living, breathing souls on canvas to invite viewers to linger, connect and think.
