Hi everyone. I would like to convey my sincere gratitude and thanks to Allied Artists of America for providing me enlightening opportunity to attend the AAA 107th Exhibition and also feel honored to win "The Jenny Lin Art Studio Pastel Award".
My name is 陳正原 ,Chen Cheng-Yuan, specialty in watercolors, pastel, acrylic, and photography. I was born in 1969 in Taipei Taiwan. After graduated from Arts & Design Dept., Hiehe Youde High School in 1988, I have no longer been engaged in painting for almost 28 years. Up until 2016, I have stumbled into pastel painting after I joined Pastel Association of Taiwan. I find and learn that pastel is a rich, colorful and interesting painting media, and really enjoy the process and amazing performance of pastel painting.
I have participated some local and international pastel contests and exhibitions in recent years and would love to share some works and artistic accomplishments with friends here.
